Mental Health Services in Hertfordshire

Making Mental Health a priority in 2024:

Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (HFPT) provides access to help and support for people in Hertfordshire who are experiencing a mental health crisis, looking for mental health help or just need to talk.

If you need to talk to someone about your mental health, they are now a number of options

  • Call NHS 111 and select Option 2, to go directly to our Single Point of Access (SPA) helpline o
  • Call  0300 777 0707 which is open 24/7 or Email: hpft.spa@nhs.net for non-urgent enquiries
  • Alternatively, call our Out of Hours Helpline Tel: 01438 843322 which will divert to the SPA helpline

 

Wellbeing Service

The Wellbeing Service continues to provide support to adults experiencing common mental health problems including depression and anxiety.  The service offers free access to innovative digital, video and telephoned based talking therapies including a wide range of self-help webinars and resources. Silver Cloud

Silver Cloud is a free online self-help programme that is proven to help with anxiety, stress and depression. The programme consists of informative and interactive modules which you can complete at your own pace to help improve your wellbeing. This programme is free for residents of Hertfordshire and Essex to use, with the access code: HPFT2020.

  • Our team of experienced therapists works with people to understand their challenges and equip them with tools and techniques to manage their difficulties. We have a dedicated resources and self-help section on our website that includes, live and interactive webinars, self-help materials and resources including a library of self-help guides to complement the treatment we provide, and access to free self-help videos developed by our clinical team: www.hpft-talkingtherapies.nhs.uk
  • This animation video has been created to introduce our services and the support we provide for residents of Hertfordshire and Mid Essex, and how to self-refer.

 

 

  • Living well with persistent pain: Our service has produced a short animation video that provides an overview of the support available to help with pain management and emotional wellbeing. This animation provides information on our ‘Living well with persistent pain’ webinar which introduces the difference between acute and persistent pain, as well as the physical and mental aspects of self-managing persistent pain.
