Heart Disease is bad news! , Dr Oliver Guttmann, will show us how to love our heart and stay well during this talk
Each day our heart beats around 100,000 times; and it’s pumping about 5 litres of blood (8 pints) through around our circulatory system. Our blood delivers oxygen and nutrients to all parts of our body to help our organs and muscles work properly. Our blood also carries away unwanted carbon dioxide and waste products. That’s when everything is working well.
But what are the first signs that all may not be well and so how can we detect any problem early? And what happens if all is not well?
Dr Oliver Guttmann is a consultant cardiologist with a special interest in chest pain and coronary interventions. He is based at The Wellington Hospital and the Golders Green Outpatients and Diagnostics Centre.
