Urgent Treatment Centre at Watford open 8am – 2am every day.
Urgent care services at Watford General Hospital and Hemel Hempstead Hospital will treat:
- Sprains, strains and broken bones (including sudden back or neck pain, muscle and joint injuries)
- Cuts, wounds, bites and stings (including where these have become infected)
- Minor burns and scalds
- Minor head and eye injuries
- Objects stuck in ears and noses
If you are severely ill (e.g. chest pain / difficulty breathing) and cannot reach a doctor immediately you should dial 999 and request an ambulance.
