KNEES, HIPS AND BONES – REGISTER HERE

Thursday 26.01.23 – 6.30pm – 7.30pm

This patient talk is focused around orthopaedic care for our patients and how some conditions can be preventable. 

Mr Johnathon Miles is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Wellington Hospital who specialises in knee and hip surgery, including partial and total knee replacement, total hip replacement, revision knee, and revision hip replacement. To achieve the best return to function for patients he performs most of his surgeries robotically to achieve the greatest possible balance and alignment of the joint while minimizing tissue damage. Breast Health – Thursday 20th October 2022

Miss Joanna Franks is a Consultant General Surgeon specialising in breast and oncoplastic surgery, for which she treats all malignant and benign breast conditions. She has a keen interest in the early detection of breast cancer, mastectomy, breast conservation, and breast cancer screening. She sees private patients at the Wellington Hospital, King Edwards VII hospital and St John’s, and Elizabeth Hospital.

Weight Management and Diabetes28th September 

Weight management is of great importance to people, especially those who also have a diagnosis of Diabetes.  Dr Patel Consultant, Endocrinologist and Senior Dietician, Nehal Keshwala presented a patient education talk about weight management and diabetes.  You can watch the video here
