Dr Alison James

Dr Alison James qualified from the Royal Free and University College Medical School in 2002; prior to this she had completed a psychology degree at the University of Bristol. She rotated her medical training posts at St George’s and St Mary’s Hospitals in London, as well as Hemel Hempstead Hospital. Post graduation she worked at practices in West London for 10 years after which she joined Chorleywood Health Centre in 2016. She takes joint responsibility for all of the practice’s nursing home residents, and is both the Dementia Lead and Care Home Lead for the practice, as well as Child Safeguarding Lead. She has jointly published 2 papers recently. She lives locally with her family, and in her spare time runs a book club and enjoys gardening. ​
